Mersho Residence Mural

This original trompe l’oeil mural spans over 800 square feet and took 3 months to complete. It was painted to match the two real bowling lanes in the home’s game room, and features 17 members of the client’s family.

The floor in the mural was painted to match the actual floor of the space, which was made of marble tile. This was my first experience with faux finish; it was challenging but I enjoyed it!

The mural features 17 portraits, all members of the client’s family, including the client himself. The faces were painted using photo references provided by Mr. Mersho.

An actual shoe rack will be placed in front of the painted shoe rental desk.
